Choice

"Take away a woman's right to choose
and she's left to take matters into her own hands.
Please support keeping abortion safe and legal.
It's pro-choice or no-choice"

Political View

Okay, so my first point in from a political view.
Alot of people don't realize that this actually plays any part in most Pro-choice beliefs. Many women, including me, believe that the government should not have RIGHTS over our body. Abortion should be a personal matter, not a political debate. Some woman could have difficulties with the pregnancy and understand that it is better to get rid of the baby as soon as possible, rather than have to deal with the consequences. Some women can't hold a baby in their body and it can harm the woman, some don't have the money to properly care for the child growing inside of them, others have jobs and lives that they can't just put on pause for a child that they never wanted.

What I'm really sick of, is people saying "If you don't want to end up pregnant, keep your legs closed." Many pregnancies are products of rape by strangers, family "friends," and even husbands forcing their wives to have sex with them threatening to hurt or kill them. Yes, guys. That IS considered rape.

In the end, my point is the government SHOULD NOT have control over such a personal matter. It is not the government's body. It is not them taking the child into their home. It is not the government working 6 days a week to feed a child, or a pregnant woman carrying the child.

And Hell, if you make it illegal, people will do anything is matters come to the worst. There are always back alley abortions. Then there's always the probability of killing the child and the mother.

Pro-Lifers View

I understand that you do not want to kill a living child, but in my point earlier, some women just aren't meant to carry children. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that you shouldn't use protection, get yourself knocked up, and know that you have the abortion clinic to back you up if something goes wrong. But pregnancies aren't always wanted or expected. There are always circumstances as to why a woman would WANT to get an abortion.

Say, a 12 year old girl gets pregnant because she's been molested from her Father's best friend since she was 8 years old, but was afraid to tell anyone. Should that girl have that baby? She'd have to get pulled out of school for the time. It could hurt her body, and her future possibility of having children with someone she truly loves.

About Abortion

that video gives you the facts on how they preform abortion. I've seen all the videos. I understand what they're doing to the child, but too many people look past the woman that has to face the consequences OUTSIDE the womb, and how much it is affecting who she is and where her life is going.

Abortions can do this to your body:

-having problems in future pregnancy
-not completing the job, and having a deformed child
-Infection
-breast cancer
-Death

Abortions are enough of a emotional problem, no need to make it a legal problem, too. Many woman can't deal with the emotional instability of having an abortion and actually end up commiting suicide. Woman forced to keep children also get too caught up in emotional instability when they are told they cannot abort the thing growing inside of them, and kill themselves and the child growing inside of them.
